Who We Are



Southeastern Legal Foundation is a national, nonprofit legal organization dedicated to defending liberty and Rebuilding the American Republic®. Founded in 1976, SLF has made it its mission to protect the American people from government overreach, challenge government policies when they violate the Constitution, and restore constitutional balance in our system of government.

SLF not only holds government officials accountable to the Constitution, but also equips Americans with the tools they need to fight for their constitutional rights. For nearly 50 years, SLF has proudly defended your constitutional rights both in and out of the courtroom.
